Cover the thread of your pistol’s barrel with our thread protector for M16x1 LH pistol
Too often, pistols with threaded barrel do not benefit a thread protector out of the box. Sometimes, the ring is also lost by the user during a day at the shooting range or a cleaning session. You can also get the weapon with a simple plastic cap or an aluminum thread protector. But in this case, the thread protector will quickly take some play and become unusable. We therefore offer a superior quality thread protector for M16x1 LH pistol.
This will preserve your gun’s thread from accidental shocks. Here we are thinking of transport and manipulations, but also of all the shooting sessions when using the weapon without silencer. Your thread will remain operational for the entire life of your barrel, allowing perfect screwing of your suppressor.
What weapons can you use our thread protector for M16x1 LH pistol with?
The M16x1 LH thread is traditionally found on .45 ACP caliber weapons. This is the thread that Heckler and Koch chooses for its HK USP pistols with threaded barrel (HK USP Tactical in particular). Also in the German manufacturer line, it is found on the HK45 Tactical and HK 45 Compact Tactical. Beware, the HK Mark 23 is an exception to the rule. Its barrel is indeed threaded in M16x1, but on the right hand (M16x1 RH).
Since January 2017, Glock has been using the M16x1 LH thread for its .45 ACP Glock 21 pistols. So there are many manufacturers of aftermarket barrels for Glock (like AAC) who take up this standard. Still, check the standard of yours before you purchase this thread protector.
Kriss uses the M16x1 LH for its .45 ACP Vector pistols too. Generally speaking, any firearm with 11 mm (0.43″) of M16x1 LH thread to cover will be able to use our protective ring.
Why choose ours?
Simply because it is the best value on the market. We make this thread protector for M16x1 LH pistol on CNC machines to ensure perfect sizing. It is made of hot blued steel, and has a knurling that makes it easier to screw/unscrew by hand.
If you work at Heckler and Koch and would like to place a massive order to equip your production, please contact us. We will be glad to get into business with you. (This is of course a joke… except if you really work at HK).
