Description
Muzzlebrake or flash hider?
A muzzle brake is designed to moderate the recoil of a weapon. On the other hand, a flash hider is designed to limit the visual signature of the shot. So here we’re talking about Vendavel “flash hider”.
The main idea is to break the luminous flash at the muzzle of the gun at each shot. This means greater comfort for the shooter and his range neighbors.
Naturally, what drives the sports shooter to acquire a gun device like the one we sell here is first and foremost the desire to gain in style.
Features of the Vendavel flash hider
This model is machined from 7075 T6 aluminum. It’s particularly lightweight, so you can embellish your weapon without unbalancing it.
We create the 5 double vents with perfect symmetry. So there’s no need for indexing. Once fully screwed onto the gun’s thread, the Vendavel is always just right.
You’ll benefit from a 14 mm (.551″) internal bore. No compatibility hassles. If it screws onto your barrel, the bullet will be able to pass through it without fear.
A custom part for your .22 LR rifle
Since it’s made of aluminum, the Vendavel flash hider is best suited to .22 LR guns. It could, for example, be used on a PCC in 9×19 or even an AR in .223. But this would inevitably shorten its lifespan.
We make it in 2 different threads:
- ½ UNF (also known as 1/2×20 TPI), standard thread in Europe
- ½ UNEF (also known as 1/2×28 TPI), standard thread in the USA
A CNC-machined part, particularly suited to .22 LR assault rifle replicas. We make it in France, but ship it all over the world.
