An extension device for the barrel of your AR15

Often our suppressor adapters are thread converters. But our silencer adapter for AR15 Hera Arms is different. It will reproduce the 1/2×28 TPI thread of your assault rifle, but 3.3 cm (1.3″) forward. The boost needed to get out of the handguard and be able to screw on a muzzle device.

As a reminder, the 1/2×28 TPI thread is also called the 1/2 UNEF thread. It is the standard for .22 caliber weapons in the broadest sense. It is on this one that you will screw a muzzle brake, a flash hider or a suppressor.

Compatibilities of our silencer adapter for AR15 Hera Arms

We designed this barrel extender for the German AR15 Hera Arms 15TH series. The thread advance will allow you to solve the problem of the too long handguard on the following variants:

• AR15 Hera Arms 15TH 11.5″ barrel (29 cm)
• AR15 Hera Arms 15TH 14.5″ barrel (37 cm)
• AR15 Hera Arms 15TH 16.75″ barrel (42 cm)

Unfortunately, our silencer adapter for AR15 Hera Arms will not be suitable for the 7.5″ (19 cm) barrel variant. It will be too short. We won’t be able to produce one neither, because the length necessary would be too long for our current machines.

This adapter has an internal diameter of 7 mm (0.276″). If you screw it on an other assault rifle than the AR Hera Arms, make sure it still is a weapon in .223 Remington or 6.5 mm Creedmoor.

A carefully machined custom part

This silencer adapter for AR15 Hera Arms starts from a diameter of 19 mm (.075″), and then expands to 22 mm (.087″). We thus seek to preserve the aesthetics of the weapon from a too brutal stair.

At the front, we make a hexagon of 19 mm allowing the use of a 3/4″ wrench for tightening. Then comes the 1/2×28 TPI thread (also called 1/2 UNEF) over a length of 12 mm (.472″).

Please note that the internal thread of the adapter is 16 mm long (.630″). It will therefore fully cover the 1/2 UNEF native thread of your AR.

We use an XC38 steel, also known as C35 steel. It allows high machining quality and reacts perfectly to bluing. By the way the surface treatment is subcontracted to a professional who works with hot baths.

The silencer adapter for AR15 Hera Arms can remain permanently screwed onto your gun. To secure it, you will only need to use a few drops of thread locker. In order to protect the 1/2×28 TPI thread of the adapter, we also sell a thread protector in 1/2 UNEF.
