Very popular because of their price, Artemis/SMK/SPA air rifles make new followers every day. But as they come out of the Chinese factories, they still show a weakness : you cannot screw a real silencer on it. That’s why we offer this Artemis/SMK/SPA-PR900W-CR600W adapter
It will replace the original nozzle of the rifle to offer you 1/2 UNF thread (also known as 1/2×20 TPI) or 1/2 UNEF thread (also known as 1/2×28 TPI). On this thread, you will be able to screw on an airgun silencer or a firearm silencer and thus keep your sooting sessions quiet.
The 1/2×20 TPI is considered the standard thread for .22 LR in Europe. On the other hand, 1/2×28 TPI is considered as the standard thread for .22 caliber weapons (broadly defined) in the U.S.A. Be careful when choosing the thread that fits your suppressor in the drop-down menu.
With which air rifles is it compatible?
Artemis airguns are sometimes distributed under the names SMK or SPA. They are nonetheless the same air rifles, sharing the same parts. The Artemis PR900W is a PCP rifle, the CR600W is a CO2 rifle. This adapter will be suitable for both, regardless of its caliber.
Beware, Artemis PR900W pellet rifles also exist with an original threaded nozzle in M10x1. An aesthetic silencer, of questionable efficiency, comes with this new generation. To use a real suppressor with internal baffles, convert this M10x1 thread with our silencer adapter for Artemis CP2.
When it comes to the CR600W, it seems that the Chinese manufacturer’s machining is not always constant regarding size of the barrel. So please make sure that yours is 11 mm (0.433″) outer diameter at the muzzle before placing your order.
Mounting of the Artemis/SMK/SPA-PR900W-CR600W adapter.
To mount the silencer adapter for Artemis/SMK/SPA-PR900W-CR600W, just remove the original nozzle and put the adapter instead. Once it is in place, the position is locked with the supplied BTR screw. All that’s left to do is to screw on the suppressor on the adapter and start shooting.
This model does not have a front sight, so your air rifle must be equipped with a scope. For open sights shooters, we also offer an Artemis/SMK/SPA-PR900W-CR600W adapter with front sight.
