What is the purpose of the Artemis/SMK/SPA – PR900W – CR600W adapter with front sight ?

The Artemis/SMK/SPA – PR900W – CR600W adapter with front sight allows you to mount a real silencer on your air rifle. Thus you will be able to use a suppressor for .177 or .22 caliber, screwed on the weapon.

This silencer adapter is available in 2 threads : 1/2×20 TPI (also known as 1/2 UNF) or 1/2×28 TPI (also known as 1/2 UNEF). Choose the one that match your silencer from the drop-down menu next to the picture.

We would like to remind that 1/2×20 TPI is the standard thread for the. 22 LR in Europe. Conversely, the 1/2×28 TPI is the standard thread for .22 calibers (broadly defined) in the U.S.A. If you do not have your suppressor yet, then choose the adapter according to the most popular thread in your own country.

On which air rifles can you really mount it?

Artemis air rifles are known under several names. Depending to the distributor, it is sometimes referred to as SMK PR900W or SPA PR900W. It is nonetheless the same Chinese PCP rifle, sold in France under the name of Artemis PR900W.

The CR600W is a CO2 air rifle. Like the PR900W, it can bear the name Artemis CR600W, SMK CR600W or SPA CR600W. Again, our silencer adapter will be fully compatible with all appellations. Beware, it seems that the Chinese manufacturer’s machining is not always consistent regarding barrel external diameter. So please make sure that yours is 11 mm (0.433″) outer diameter at the muzzle before placing your order.

On the other hand, be careful. We recently found some PR900W whose barrel nozzle has native M10x1 thread. These come with a compatible “fake silencer”. If you want to use a real suppressor with internal baffles on one of these rifles, choose our silencer adapter for Artemis CP2.

How to mount the Artemis/SMK/SPA – PR900W – CR600W adapter with front sight.

This part is put on the barrel to replace the original nozzle of the rifle. It is then secured by a supplied BTR screw. Since it holds a front sight, you can still use the open sights of the weapon. Those who prefer to use a scope can also choose our Artemis/SMK/SPA – PR900W – CR600W classic adapter, without front sight but cheaper.
