The silencer adapter for Artemis CP1 will allow you to reduce the sound of your air gun when shooting. With it, the recreational shooter will be able to practice more discreet sessions, minimising the noise nuisance for his neighborhood. This adapter replaces the original nozzle of the CP1 barrel, and offers you the accessory thread you need.

Here we are talking about Artemis CP1 air gun, but this CO2 pellet gun is also known as SMK CP1 or even SPA CP1. These different names stand for the same weapon, and the compatibility of the adapter on this page is ensured. The same goes for the CP1-M multi pistols, the cylinder-fed version of the CP1. On the caliber side, pellet guns in .177 (4.5 mm) and .22 (5.5 mm) are both welcome.

How to install the silencer adapter for Artemis CP1?

This silencer adapter slips over the end of the Artemis CP1, after removing the original nozzle. It is secured by the supplied Allen screw, allowing right indexing. This accessory has a location so that you can put the original front sight back on the pistol. The weapon will then offer a silencer thread in 1/2 UNF or 1/2 UNEF (your choice). A quick and reversible installation.

Which thread to choose?

As a general rule, the 1/2 UNF (1/2×20 TPI) is considered as the standard .22 LR thread in Europe. For weapons of the same caliber, Americans prefer the UNEF 1/2 (1/2×28 TPI). Major brands of silencers produce suppressors in both standards. But regarding cheap silencers, it is better to conform your choice to the most common standard in your country.
