A silencer adapter for your sporting or hunting rifle
Convert the thread of your weapon into another standard : we offer a silencer adapter 5/8×24 TPI to M18x1. Then you will be able to use an M18x1 suppressor on a 5/8×24 TPI threaded rifle. A simple solution to get around the compatibility problem.
Indeed in the world of firearms, the addition of a barrel accessory is not always easy. Every country, every manufacturer has its own habits. There is no such thing as a universal silencer thread. We may also wish to share the same suppressor with several differently threaded rifles. This in order to reduce costs, or to accommodate restrictive legislation limiting the number of silencers allowed.
For what rifle is the silencer adapter 5/8×24 TPI to M18x1 intended ?
The 5/8×24 TPI (also known as 5/8 UNEF) is the standard barrel thread in the US for .30 caliber firearms. It can be found on both Remington 700 rifles, Savage 10 and 110, and the Ruger Precision Rifle. In .308 Winchester, .30-06 Springfield or .300 Winchester magnum, this is a tradition. So if you have a standard threaded American rifle in one of these calibers (non-exhaustive list), there is a good chance that it will be threaded in 5/8×24 TPI.
Whereas in Europe, for .30 caliber (and approaching) sports and military weapons, the M18x1 is preferred. For example, it is the heavy barrel thread for Sako, CZ or Bergara. So it’s only natural to find mostly M18x1 suppressors on the old continent. Through our silencer adapter 5/8×24 TPI to M18x1, an American rifle can then be equipped with a European suppressor very easily.
Why choose ours ?
When it comes to use a silencer on a firearm with flawless precision, the concentricity of the gun and accessory has to be perfect. So we make our silencer adapter 5/8×24 TPI to M18x1 on CNC machines with the utmost care.
It is a steel made, blued for optimal corrosion resistance. In addition, the external diameter of the adapter is only 22 mm. This allows most barrel covering suppressors in M18x1, in addition to traditional silencers.
If you want to convert another thread than the 5/8×24 TPI into M18x1, or even into something else, you can also set up your custom silencer adapter.
