A silencer adapter for Umarex CP99 and CPS
Replicating the system of our silencer adapter for Walther CP88, we offer here the silencer adapter for Umarex CP99 and CPS. It allows the use of a suppressor on your pellet gun, to enjoy more discreet shots. This opens the door to domestic sessions, minimizing noise nuisance for your neighborhood.
We make this custom piece on CNC machines in our French workshop. You will therefore enjoy strict tolerances and a neat manufacturing finish. A black anodizing protects the adapter, preserving it from corrosion.
How to install this silencer adapter?
Our silencer adapter for Umarex CP99 and CPS mounts to the front of the gun, replacing its original face. To this end, we deliver it with a new screw, longer than the original one. This installation remains reversible. So you can put your CO2 airgun back in its original configuration at any time.
We always advise against leaving a silencer screwed at the end of a barrel permanently. On the other hand, this adapter can stay mounted on the weapon between two shooting sessions. If so, we recommend that you cover its end with a suitable barrel thread protector.
What about compatibilities?
As the name implies, this accessory will be compatible with Umarex Walther CP99 and Walther CPS. Note that the Walther CPS is also known as the Walther CP sport. These airguns shoot pellets of 4.5 mm caliber.
Once the silencer adapter is mounted, you will benefit a male thread to screw on a suppressor. This thread is available in 1/2 UNF (1/2×20 TPI) or 1/2 UNEF (1/2×28 TPI). So choose yours according to the most common standard in your country. By the way airsoft suppressors in M14 threads are not welcome.
