We produce this silencer adapter for Mauser HSr PP7 in response to the legitimate desire to fit it with a suppressor. Indeed, whether you call it Mauser HSr after the inscription on its slide, or Mauser PP7 according to the French importer’s catalog name, you’re still talking about the same handgun.

A more or less loose replica of the Sig P232, this little Mauser pistol in .22 LR is intended to be a playful weapon. But to make it even more fun, we’re naturally inclined to equip it with a silencer. To do this, we take advantage of a barrel thread inside the slide, invisible when the slide is forward.

Installation of the silencer adapter for Mauser HSr PP7

First, we pull back the slide to reveal the end of the barrel. You’ll immediately notice the flats that can be used to loosen the ring with a small wrench. Once this is done, an M9x0.75 thread is revealed, which we’re going to put to good use.

While the M9x0.75 is a classic on .22 LR handguns, it’s out of the question to use our silencer adapter for Sig 1911-22 or the one for KMR. The barrel geometry of the Mauser HSr forced us to develop a custom adapter. It will therefore only work with it.

Screw the adapter in place of the original ring, using the 16 mm hexagon and a wrench. Use the drop-down menu on the right to select the adapter’s output thread, to match your suppressor.

A reminder:

• ½ UNF = 1/2×20 TPI, the default thread for .22 LR silencers in Europe.
• ½ UNEF = 1/2×28 TPI, the default thread for .22 LR silencers in the USA.
