Compatibility of the silencer adapter M14x1 to 1/2 UNF

A thread converter like this one has two sides. First a female side, here in M14x1 thread, also known as M14x100 RH. It screws at the barrel’s end of your rifle. Then a male side, here in 1/2 UNF, also known as 1/2×20 TPI. It will receive the suppressor or the flash hider of your choice.

In general, M14x1 threading is quite common in Europe. It is mainly found on light-barreled hunting or sporting rifles. This includes, not exhaustively, the Tikka T3X Lite, the Browning X-Bolt, A-Bolt or Maral, and some CZ 527.

The silencer adapter M14x1 to 1/2 UNF can accommodate all muzzle devices in 1/2 UNF. If you use a suppressor, we invite you to drop it off at the end of each shooting session. This will avoid keeping a trapped air pocket at the end of the weapon, which can cause corrosion to the barrel’s muzzle. Without a silencer mounted, it is therefore interesting to cover the adapter with a suitable barrel thread protector, to avoid shocks.

Features of the silencer adapter M14x1 to 1/2 UNF

We make this silencer adapter out of a XC38 steel (also called C35). It has a knurled section that allows for hand-assembly/disassembly. To secure it at the end of the barrel, a few drops of thread lock are always welcome.

Our machinist team manufactures this adapter on state-of-the-art CNC machines. They carefully control its dimensions and finish before hot bluing. After the surface treatment, they operate a second and most attentive quality control. We are thus able to guarantee you a perfect concentricity, tailored to precision shooting weapons.

The internal diameter of this adapter is 7 mm (.275″). So you can use it with any ammunition whose bullet diameter is equal or smaller diameter (.223 Remington, .243 Winchester, .260 Remington, 6.5 Creedmoor…). No pressure will be too big for it, as soon as your rifle supports it.
