So is this a silencer adapter for ISSC M22 Gen 2 ? Or a silencer adapter for Artemis CP2? Well, actually it’s both. Indeed, the two weapons mentioned share the same M10x1 thread at the muzzle, a standard for which there are virtually no silencers. But with this accessory, you can mount a .22 caliber suppressor on your weapon, whether it’s an Austrian .22 LR pistol, or a Chinese CO2 pellet gun.

In both cases, the update is reversible and reliable. It doesn’t disturb your target accuracy, and the silencer adapter can even stay screwed onto the weapon at all times. On the other hand, we do not advise leaving the suppressor on the gun or rifle after the shooting session. It would be a closed space conducive to condensation, and therefore corrosion. So don’t hesitate to match this accessory with an appropriate barrel thread protector.

Compatibility of the silencer adapter for ISSC M22 Gen 2 and Artemis CP2

We first created this accessory for the .22 LR ISSC M22 Gen 2 threaded pistol. It is distinguished from Gen 1 by the fact that its barrel protrudes from the slide. So it already offers an external M10x1 thread, and it is this thread that we wanted to make more universal. It’s this native awkward thread that you will transform into 1/2 UNF or 1/2 UNEF through our adapter. Beware, the ISSC M22 Gen 1 pistol will not be compatible, even in its threaded version.

Subsequently, airgunners came to us in search of a solution to mount a silencer on the Artemis CP2. This pellet gun, which can be converted into a rifle, also has a native M10x1 thread. After testing, our silencer adapter here was found to be perfectly compatible. It should be noted that the Artemis CP2 is sometimes also sold under the name SMK CP2 or SPA CP2. It is the same weapon, with the same compatibility. Versions in .177″ as .22″ are welcome.

Which thread to choose for silencers ?

We offer this silencer adapter in two threads. The 1/2×20 TPI (also known as 1/2 UNF) or the 1/2×28 TPI (also known as 1/2 UNEF). 1/2×20 TPI is the most common in Europe for .22 LR suppressors. The U.S. prefers the 1/2×28 TPI for all .22 caliber weapons. So choose your thread based on the most accessible silencers in your own country.
