Customize your .22 LR heavy barrel rifle

To give an aggressive look to your favorite long gun, we produce the Typhoon mini flash hider. More relevant than a muzzle brake, it will distinguish you at the shooting range by an assertive custom style.

Its outer diameter is 22 mm (.866″). This is usually the diameter of the heavy barrel on rimfire rifles. It will thus be possible to extend the barrel of a CZ 457 Varmint for example, without inesthetic gap.

Note that if you want to catch the eye with a bigger device, we also produce the Typhon in a full size version. Larger, it then has an external diameter of 1″.

What are the limits of our Typhoon mini flash hider ?

Since we make it out of aluminum, this muzzle device is weaker than a steel model. Big calibers will therefore be avoided.

The internal channel is bore to 7 mm (.276″). An additional restriction for those who would like to see too big. Beware, this internal diameter is not a green light for the .223 Remington. Too fast, too violent.

To put it simply, we will reserve this flash hider to rimfire weapons. So 22 LR, .22 Mag, .17 HMR, .17 Mach 2 and others will be welcome, but no more.

The Typhoon mini flash hider exists in two threads. The 1/2×20 TPI (also known as 1/2 UNF) and the 1/2×28 TPI (also known as 1/2 UNEF). The first is rather for the European market, the second rather for the US market.
