The Hatsan Sortie is not the most common PCP pistol, but it is definitely one of the funniest. Powerful and compact, it works semi-automatically, allowing for playful plinking. But the sound it emits during the shooting can be a nuisance to your neighborhood. So we’re producing this silencer adapter for Hatsan Sortie Tact, to make it more discreet.

When equipped with a shoulder stock, the Hatsan Sortie becomes the Hatsan Sortie Tact. Since these two air guns share the same barrel, you can use our custom device on both. Then it will be easy to screw on the suppressor of your choice. Whether it’s an pellet gun accessory, or a .22 LR silencer.

How do I use the silencer adapter for Hatsan Sortie Tact ?

Our adapter is actually a thread converter (as it’s often the case). To mount it on the gun, simply unscrew the original muzzle device, in order to discover the big Hatsan proprietary thread. Then screw our accessory as a replacement. You will get a male thread in 1/2 UNF or 1/2 UNEF, ready to receive a suppressor.

We’re machining this custom part in quality aluminum that won’t weigh down your weapon. Its internal diameter is 0.29″, so it will be able to deliver passage to .177″, .22″ or .25″ pellets.

Warning: several of our customers have warned us that once this adapter is mounted on their Hatsan Sortie, they lose the ability to shoot in semi-automatic mode. Since the use of a silencer is intended to reduce the noise produced, switching to a manual rearmament is relevant, but it is still a particularity to keep in mind when buying!

Which suppressors are compatible with this thread converter ?

We make this silencer adapter for Hatsan Sortie Tact in two threads : the 1/2 UNF and the 1/2 UNEF. This allows you to choose the one that you can easily find a suppressor for in your country. As a reminder, the 1/2 UNF (also known as 1/2×20 TPI) is the standard thread of .22 LR silencers in Europe. On the other hand, in the USA, 1/2 UNEF (also known as 1/2×28 TPI) is the most common.

Once the silencer adapter is screwed to the end of your barrel, it can stay there all the time. The careful shooter will think of covering it with a thread protector to preserve it from accidental shocks.
