Made for target shooting, the Walther PP Sport is nothing but a .22 LR version of the famous Walther PP, equipped with a long barrel. The thread at the end of this barrel is M10x0.6. This applies to both original German models and Manurhin PP Sport pistols.

However, no M10x0.6 silencers are commonly available on the market. It is therefore necessary to convert this thread into something more common. It is then easy to screw on a standard suppressor. That’s why we offer this exotic adapter.

Major brands produce silencers in both threads. But the .22 LR is a low-pressure caliber, allowing entry-level suppressors. Those generally conform only to their local market. With this in mind, choose the most common thread in your part of the world if you are considering acquiring a cheap silencer.

We recommend never leaving a silencer mounted on a weapon after the shooting session. On the other hand, you can leave the adapter screwed at the end of the barrel at all times. It is then wiser to cover it with a barrel thread protector in the right standard.
