What is the purpose of the silencer adapter for Walther PP Sport?
When it comes to rare custom parts, we offer a silencer adapter for Walther PP Sport. A simple and quality solution to equip your gun with a suppressor.
Made for target shooting, the Walther PP Sport is nothing but a .22 LR version of the famous Walther PP, equipped with a long barrel. The thread at the end of this barrel is M10x0.6. This applies to both original German models and Manurhin PP Sport pistols.
However, no M10x0.6 silencers are commonly available on the market. It is therefore necessary to convert this thread into something more common. It is then easy to screw on a standard suppressor. That’s why we offer this exotic adapter.
What suppressor can I screw on it ?
For newbies, it should be remembered that the 1/2×20 TPI (also known as 1/2 UNF) is the standard thread for .22 LR in Europe, and that the 1/2×28 TPI (also known as 1/2 UNEF) is that of the American continent. Choose the desired thread from the drop-down menu to the right of the image.
Major brands produce silencers in both threads. But the .22 LR is a low-pressure caliber, allowing entry-level suppressors. Those generally conform only to their local market. With this in mind, choose the most common thread in your part of the world if you are considering acquiring a cheap silencer.
We recommend never leaving a silencer mounted on a weapon after the shooting session. On the other hand, you can leave the adapter screwed at the end of the barrel at all times. It is then wiser to cover it with a barrel thread protector in the right standard.
Features of the silencer adapter for Walther PP Sport
We make this silencer adapter for Walther PP Sport out of quality steel, on CNC machines. It is therefore carefully sized and standardized. This ensures a perfect concentricity with the barrel. Of course, the M10x0.6 has to be concentric itself, but it’s almost always the case.
The adapter is chemically blued to ensure a lasting finish, even after several years of use. It has a 16 mm hexagon in the middle, to allow you to screw/unscrew it using a wrench (if necessary).
Neat French manufacturing, to rediscover the pleasure of discreet shooting with your Walther PP Sport.
