So that’s what we offer you to do now, with our silencer adapter for CZ Scorpion Evo 3 S1. It will convert the M18x1 thread at the muzzle of your Scorpion Evo 3 into M13.5×1 LH or 1/2×28 TPI.

Just in case you’re in doubt : there’s no problem using a handgun silencer on a Pistol Caliber Carbine like the Scorpion. The silencer’s booster is indeed made to facilitate the cycling of guns with tilting barrel. But using it on a fixed barrel is inconsequential. It simply becomes useless, the cycling doing very well with or without it. So don’t hesitate to share your Dead Air Odessa-9 (or other) between your handgun and your carbine.
Compatibility of our silencer adapter for CZ Scorpion Evo 3 S1
On this point beware, be careful. There are two types of civilian Scorpion Evo 3 S1 semi-auto carbines :
- First, those with a barrel thread that is only in M18x1. They were the first to spread on the world, in Europe, but also in the USA.
- Then there are those who have a double thread. A short M18x1 section at the base, and a longer second section in 1/2×28 TPI forward. No doubt that CZ wanted to respond in this way to the grievance of using an exotic metric thread. Threading for which the U.S. market lacks compatible muzzle devices.
Our silencer adapter for CZ Scorpion Evo 3 S1 will only be compatible with the first version, the one fully threaded in M18x1. If you own the second, you should easily find a 1/2×28 TPI suppressor in a good gunstore. And in case you want to screw a silencer threaded M13.5×1 LH on your CZ Scorpion version 2, then you just need to use our silencer adapter 1/2×28 TPI to M13.5×1 LH.
Note that CZ now produces the Scorpion Evo 3 S1 in .22 LR. The adapter on this page is fully compatible with this rimfire variant.
Wouldn’t a classic “x to y” thread adapter have been enough?
Unfortunately not. Because on the Scorpion fully threaded in M18x1, the thread does not extend to the muzzle face. It is therefore necessary to provide additional depth in the adapter, in order to cover this plain section.
There is also the support at the rear end of the thread, which comes in the form of an angled face. It was therefore necessary to machine an additional bevel at the base of the silencer adapter for CZ Scorpion Evo 3 S1, to find a real support face instead of a crude edge.
