Many airgunners use Crosman single-shot pistols for target shooting. In this search for precision, it seems natural to want to take advantage of match-type diopter open sights. Unfortunately, the original front sight do not allow easy conversion. So we offer this 11 mm front sight dovetail adapter for Crosman 2240. It will provide you with a standard dovetail interface for the best aftermarket accessories.

To enjoy it, all you have to do is remove the original front sight assembly and replace it with this custom front sight dovetail adapter. You can then tight any hooded front sight (diopter type, with inserts) with an 11 mm base.

Compatibility of this 11 mm front sight dovetail adapter for Crosman pistols

This muzzle device has an internal diameter intended to the barrel of Crosman 2240 pellet guns, but also Crosman 2300S and Crosman 2300T. It will be able to let .177 and .22 pellets go through. Simply slip it onto the airgun muzzle, and secure it by tightening the top screw provided.

You will then have a dovetail 11 mm wide (7/16″), with a length of 30 mm (1.18″). On the height side, the flat top of the dovetail is 10.5 mm (0.39″) from the bore axis. So be sure to check that the rise offered to the front sight you plan to use will be consistent with the height of your rear sight or your diopter.

We manufacture this 11 mm front sight dovetail adapter for Crosman 2240, 2300S and 2300T on CNC machines. To prevent unnecessarily weighing down your weapon, we do it in a 7075 T6 aluminum. The part then undergoes a black anodization that match the original finish of the airgun.

Warning : this custom piece does not have any front thread. It is therefore not intended for the use of a suppressor. If you want to mount a silencer on your pellet gun and still shoot it open sights, we recommend our silencer adapter with front sight for Crosman 2240.
