This is a special one. On this page you will find a silencer adapter 1/2 UNF or 1/2 UNEF to M9x0.75. It echoes a recurring demand from recreational shooters who have acquired a Sig Mosquito kit including its proprietary silencer. That of being able to use this suppressor on other .22 LR guns.

This request is legitimate. Because the silencer provided in kit with the .22 LR Sig Mosquito pistol is one of the best on the market. It’s nothing less than a Brügger & Thomet HP22, equipped with a thread corresponding to the Mosquito’s barrel : M9x0.75.

But most .22 LR firearms with a threaded barrel are not in M9x0.75. They are in 1/2 UNF (in Europe) or in 1/2 UNEF (in the USA). Thanks to our adapter, you can now mount the suppressor of your Sig Mosquito and enjoy an optimal sound reduction.

Silencer adapter 1/2 UNF or 1/2 UNEF to M9x0.75 compatibility

This silencer adapter has two ends. Its male thread in M9x0.75 RH is compatible with the suppressor sometimes sold with the Sig Mosquito, as has already been stated. But in general, it will be able to accommodate any muzzle device in M9x0.75, threaded 7/16″ long. Who knows, there are probably other proprietary silencers that we haven’t heard of but share the same thread size.

You can choose the female thread, the one that you will screw at the end of your weapon. So if your .22 LR rifle or pistol is in 1/2×20 TPI, go for the 1/2 UNF. If, on the contrary, the destination weapon is in 1/2×28 TPI, select the 1/2 UNEF.

Features of this thread converter

We make this custom part in a XC38 steel (also called C35). To do so, we use the latest generation of CNC machines. This allows perfect thread concentricity and flawless finish. We also perform an oblique knurling that allows the adapter to be screwed/unscrewed by hand.

To protect the part from corrosion, it then undergoes a hot bluing offering the typical black style of firearms. From design to surface treatment, including machining, everything is made in France.
