How to reduce the recoil of a powerful rifle? With the Sirocco Deluxe muzzle brake.
Shooting with a big gun can sometimes be unpleasant. So for added comfort when using your rifle, we offer the Sirocco Deluxe muzzle brake. Screw on this steel compensator on the end of your weapon, and it will channel the gas evacuation on the sides. This creates a stabilizing effect, which reduces the recoil of the rifle at each shot.
The decompression is done through 3 vents, whose spacing is decreasing. We are inspired here by the Sako muzzle brakes, present on some of the excellent TRG rifles.
A muzzle device compatible with a wide range of long guns.
The difference between our classic Sirocco muzzle brake and this Deluxe version is the locking nut. For a small additional cost, this Deluxe version allows perfect indexing out of the box. No need for a shim kit washer or a crush washer.
The locking nut is 10 mm (.394″) long and can be operated with a simple 27 mm (1-1/8″) wrench on the 3/4×24 TPI model. For other threads, a 25 mm (1″) wrench is required.
We produce this compensator in a variety of long gun threads:
- M14x1 (as known as M14x100)
- M15x1 (as known as M15x100)
- M16x1 (as known as M16x100)
- M17x1 (as known as M17x100)
- M18x1 (as known as M18x100)
- 5/8×24 TPI (as known as 5/8 UNEF)
- 3/4×24 TPI (as known as 3/4 UNS)

The internal channel of this compensator is drilled to 9 mm diameter, so we recommend it for all 8 mm and .30 calibers or less. This includes the .308 Winchester, the .30-06 SPRG, the 6.5 Creedmoor… No problem for Magnum calibers either. A .300 Win Mag or a 7mm RM will be welcome.
Small exception: the 3/4×24 and M18x1 models are bored to 9.5 mm internal diameter to allow the .338 Lapua Magnum. We can also make a custom bore to meet a particular need.
