In the US, manufacturers of long-range rifles typically thread their barrels in 5/8×24 TPI. It is in this standard that you’ll find the most of offers when it comes to suppressors, muzzle brakes or flash hiders. But there are a few exceptions to the rule, which can complicate the choice of a muzzle device. That’s why we make this silencer adapter 3/4×24 TPI to 5/8×24 TPI.

With it, you’ll transform your firearm’s 3/4×24 TPI thread to the world’s most common thread. At least for .308 Winchester, .300 Win Mag or .338 Lapua Magnum. Simply screw it to the end of your heavy barrel to make the conversion. To avoid unwanted unscrewing, a few drop of loctite-type thread lock will be welcome.

A silencer adapter for Desert Tech (Desert Tactical Arms), Ruger Precision Rifle or KAC (Knight’s Armament)

Originally, we made this thread converter for Desert Tactical Arms long range rifles. Re-branded Desert Tech in 2013, the company still uses the 3/4×24 TPI for its SRS A2 rifles in .338 Lapua Magnum. But the excellence of old Desert Tactical Arms rifles still leads many sports shooters to use them, and to look for a solution to convert their 3/4×24 TPI thread.

This thread is also found on some SR-25 of Knight’s Armament, high-end AR in .308 Win, also manufactured in the USA. But other long guns that we haven’t heard about probably also use 3/4×24 TPI thread. They can therefore be considered virtually compatible with this adapter.

Features of the silencer adapter 3/4×24 TPI to 5/8×24 TPI

To withstand the pressures of big calibers, we manufacture this silencer adapter in an XC38 steel. Its external diameter measures .94″ and has an oblique knurling to be tightened by hand. Its internal diameter of 9 mm will allow the passage of all .354″ bullets or lower.

We work in France on the latest generation of CNC machines. This ensures perfect concentricity of threads, and excellent surface quality. Regarding finish, our adapters undergo a high-end industrial hot bluing.
